Mathieu’s car, the First Step, is an older ‘39 Duesenberg Model 8-C. Tooled and retooled again, the original canary yellow paint has long since been stripped and battered away, given an amateur coat of silver paint, and had its Cascade hover-jet tweaked for longer air time.

He hopes this will give him an edge in the Grand Prix being held in Lisbon, Portugal, in the upcoming week.
